Badmanner Thymes Espresso: Parramatta

If the quirky name of Badmanner Thymes Espresso cafe doesn't catch your attention, the gorgeous food and quirky décor will sure do the trick. With a gorgeous pastry cabinet right at the counter, a chalkboard mural on the back wall and great friendly service - this is definitely the place to be in Western Sydney!

Located only ten minutes away from Parramatta station, at 2/1 Horwood Place; Badmanner Thymes serves a variety of dishes. From filling burgers, to iced drinks, delicious pastries and appetising breakfast spreads - you will need to visit this place more than once to try all the great items on their menu.

Some of their most popular items (the ones you simply must try out) include: their 6 Hour Pulled Pork Kimchi Burger - for those who are brave and like a bit of spice! Cronuts (Croissants + Doughnuts) that come in a variety of flavours such as chocolate, sugar glaze, lemon myrtle and salted caramel and macadamia; and also try out their Hangover Burger - which you don't actually need to have a Hangover to eat!

They also serve great coffee, iced drinks including drip tea, milkshakes and frappes, traditional breakfasts such as baked eggs and avocado toast, along with decadent desserts such as apple pie, orange chocolate cheesecakes and brownies.

And to top it all off, they use the best local produce from Parramatta and surrounding regions. So the food is not only good for you, but good for the local community too!

Shot Lab Expresso: Newport Beach

Located along the main shopping strip of Newport on Barrenjoey Road, Shot Lab is my family favourite coffee shop and a favourite among many families in Newport. Frequently visited early every morning before I begin my trip to uni to start the day, Shot Lab has a unique style and extremely friendly staff, but most importantly uses a fair trade blend of coffee that tastes just as good in a long black (my new favourite) as it does in a latte.

Highly recommended would be their signature hot chocolates, served uniquely with a glass of melted Lindt chocolate beside a bottle of warm milk! My brothers and sisters love that they are able to make their hot chocolate the way they want or even have the milk separately.

Keeping up with all the latest trends in healthy food, Shot Lab's food menu includes acai bowls / smoothies and homemade granola as well as gluten free and low-sugar options. In addition, traditional cafe breakfasts such as a bacon + egg roll and wraps are also available.

Introduction: Cafes around Strathfield (Fiona Zhu)

Welcome to our Cafe Review Blog.  My name is Fiona and let's follow me to know the most popular cafes around Strathfield of Sydney.

Strathfield is a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney Australian. Most of koreans live in Strathfield and so most of the cafes and restaurants make Korea food. People can easy to get to Strathfield. It only take about 20 minutes train to get to Strathfield from Central Station.

This blog is going to introduce the most popular cafe i used to go, which call Buttermelt Cafe. The cafe offer breakfast , launch and also dinner. It also offer coffee, drinks and special Korea Tea. The taste is really amazing. I prefer to go and have a taste of their pasta and with a traditional Korean Tea. You would feel so relaxing and enjoying to have meal in that shop, because the environment is quietly beautiful and you can choose to sit inside or outdoor seating. However, the workers over there have really friendly attitude to customer, which makes you really feel comfortable to stay. So here is the address of the shop 1, 7-9 Church Ave Strathfield NSW 2135 and it will be open 8 am - 10 pm.  Let's go and have a try, you will like it!

Introduction: Around Sydney City(Darius)

Hi everyone! Welcome to our cafe review blog,my name is Tianxing Luo(Darius) and I will be reviewing some of the popular cafes around Sydney city. 

Currently I'm living in the Chinatown which located in the heart of Sydney City. The central business district of Sydney is roughly bounded by Circular Quay and Sydney Harbour to the north,Macquarie Street to the east, Darling Harbour to the west and Liverpool Street and Central railway station to the south. Inside of Sydney city,there are so many cafes offers a variety of drinks and food. While Sydney city is busy and crowded, many people still choose to stop and enjoy a cup of coffee everyday. Sydney is also a international metropolis,there are people come from all over the world, so we can find diverse coffee culture from all of those unique cafes.

Introduction: Western Sydney (Tahlia)

Hey there! My name is Tahlia and I'll be reviewing cafes in my local area of Western Sydney. Prominent suburbs in this area include Parramatta, Blacktown and The Hills region. 

Western Sydney is around 40-50 minutes away from the centre of Sydney and is easily accessible by public transport such as bus, train or even ferry (to Parramatta)! It is one of the most populous areas in New South Wales and is known for it's great diversity and multiculturalism. The population here consists of many different nationalities such as Indian, Filipino, Chinese, Fijian and many more! All of which is reflected in the many different eateries that are open here :) In the past, Western Sydney has not had the best reputation amongst Sydney-siders, but this is changing. Western Sydney has rapidly changed in the past few decades - with large shopping centres, sport stadiums and of course... great cafes all emerging in the area. 

I can't wait to show you some of the hidden gems in Western Sydney, and show you that there's more to this area than meets the eye! Get ready to be amazed (I hope).

Introduction: The Northern Beaches

Hello! My name is Nicolette, and I will be reviewing some of the popular cafes on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, especially in the suburb of Newport and surrounding suburbs such as Palm Beach, Mona Vale and Avalon.

A exclusive collection of quiet coastal suburbs, the Northern Beaches of Sydney are located an hour north of Sydney's central business district.  With enchanting scenery and a coastal lifestyle, our area is famous for our beaches, lookouts, and laid back way of living. This is reflected in our abundant number of cafes (I can already count ten in Newport...) that all have a unique culture to them. Many of these receive favourable reviews and some have even won awards, which I will be discussing in my future posts as I review some of my favourite places to go.
